Week 5: Prat – David Cameron

by Charlie_East_West on January 31, 2016

Our prat of the week award goes to David Cameron for stating at PMQs that the refugees in Calais were nothing more than a “bunch of migrants.”

David Cameron has a CV stuffed full of Bullingdon Club sneering gaffs. Whether it is “swarm” or “bunch” of migrants; “terrorist sympathisers”; “calm down dear” or allegedly sticking his private parts into a pig – this is a man who consistently gives off the impression of being a toffee nosed, braying posh boy who simply cannot understand or offer real compassion to the plight of others.

John McDonnell was rightly criticised for brandishing a copy of Chairman Mao’s Little Red Book during the Autumn Statement. It reinforced a hard left stereotype. Cameron’s antics however, are much worse than waving a provocative book. Cameron uses his words to undermine mass groups of tragedy. His words dehumanised the terrible plight of migrants on a symbolic day – Holocaust Memorial Day. It was undignified and typical of the man.

This is not the behaviour of a dignified and statesmanlike Prime Minister. It is the words of an over privileged idiot who is playing sick jokes at the expense of others with his born to rule arrogance.
