King of the Valleys Award 2015

by Charlie_East_West on January 3, 2016

Our King of the Valleys Award is awarded to the person or persons who have seen their reputation plummet the furthest over the course of the last 12 months. The unworthy winner(s) receive our infamous dog turd branded King of the Valleys jersey.

In the historical pantheon of previous King of the Valleys we have:-

2010 – Vince Cable
2011 – Dominique Strauss-Khan
2012 – George Osborne
2013 – English cricket team
2014 – Brazil international football team.

The winner of the 2015 award goes to the Liberal Democrats. They have gone from being driven around in ministerial cars with massive amounts of denial about impending election disaster to still having massive amounts of denial about their election disaster.

The Lib Dems now have only 8 MPs and most of the country would struggle to name at least 3 Lib Dem MPs. They have gone from coalition lickspittles to total irrelevance in the space of 12 months.

Vince Cable, Danny Alexander, Ed Davey, Simon Hughes…you took one hell of a beating. Nick Clegg – how did that “Lib Dems are curbing the worst tendencies of the Tories” thingy work out for you?
