#911: 1978, Dr Alimantado, Best Dressed Chicken In Town

by George_East on July 15, 2014

Christ it’s been hot over the last few days.  Humid and when we have been lucky sunny too.   No weather for work and certainly no weather for suited and booted work.   It has though been weather for the classic reggae.  The perfect music for stiflingly hot evenings – turning the sweaty into the sultry.  Bringing a bit of Jamaica into my London life.

I’ve been dusting down a few reggae albums as a result over the last week. This is peak reggae from its 1970s golden age, from the great Dr Alimantado album of the same name.  It is impossible not to feel better and more relaxed after hearing it.   One of the classic tracks.

(I suppose I’d better apologise first…)

Jamaica?

No way, she was well up for it…
